FLO Shower System

Flo is a practice of establishing brand identity and design language, taking inpiration from rudimentary and natural elements. Designed for technology and innovation in the next 10-15 years, it has a vertically system designed for accessible, streamlined, and intentional shower experiences through integrated shelving and touchpoints, all of which were gaps in the market.

Shower systems require us to test the water temperature. Lack of storage in the shower forces us to problem solve. 
4.81 billion people have access to an indoor shower, so how can we problem solve the shower system to make life easier?

The solution is a shower system that allows the user to preset the water temp they want, with increased surface area for products, and additional shower head on the lower half of the system for convenience, high pressure rinsing, pets, or people of limited mobility.

How can small details be changed to make the interaction with the system intuitive?

Final Design..

Automating the water temp eliminates the need to adjust the temp while showering, and increases knowledge of safe water temps for skin health through colored interface. It saves time and water by elimintating the guessing game while waiting for the water to heat up, encourages skin health, and ensures the ideal water temp from start to finish.
