RECESS - In Progress

RECESS is a double pendulum, a physics-inspired accessory that turns chaotic motion and unpredictability into a tactile experience. Interact with RECESS when faced with a work problem to take a break and reset your focus.

I'm currently prototyping a double pendulum design to manufacture and sell myself. Initial product launch is designed for living spaces, design offices, and hotels to foster interaction, tangibility, and a visual break from distractions. 

Inspired by the unpredictable physics of double pendulums, I use florescent acrylic to highlight the beauty of movement, contrasted by a casted concrete base to ground the design.
